Booking Policy
This page explains the intended booking structure for chef businesses using You Cook. We Book. It should be tailored to each chef’s final terms.
Retainers
Many private chef events are secured by a retainer or deposit. The chef business determines retainer amount, refundability, payment methods, and final payment timing.
Payments
Client payments may be collected through the chef’s payment processor or another approved payment method. You Cook. We Book. may help coordinate payment communication but does not replace the chef’s payment terms.
Changes
Guest count, menu, timing, location, package, and add-ons may change after initial inquiry. Updated quotes should be confirmed by the client before execution.
Cancellations
Cancellation, rescheduling, and refund policies are set by the chef business and should be clearly displayed in the quote or event agreement.
Event Delivery
The chef business is responsible for the actual event experience, team, food, service, travel, and setup unless otherwise agreed in writing.
